Who we are

System Two Group Ltd is the data controller for this website. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 06026359, at 90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE.

What we collect, and when

We only collect personal information when you choose to give it to us by filling in one of the forms on this site. We do not require anyone to register, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

• Contact form

  First name, last name, email address, company, job title, the nature of your enquiry and your message.

• The Readiness Index

  Name, email address, company and role, to open the instrument.

• The Rinsing Diagnostic

  Name, email address, company, job title, team size and the number of propositions you are working on.

• What’s YOUR Because?

  Your draft hypothesis, plus your name and email address so we can reply to it.

• The method summary

  Your email address, so we can send you the PDF.

Your Readiness Index answers are not sent to us. All 150 responses are stored in your own browser so you can stop and come back to it. They never leave your device, we never see them, and clearing your browser data deletes them.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use what you give us to reply to you, to send you the thing you asked for, and to understand who is interested in the work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — you have approached us and we are responding — except where we rely on your consent, which is the basis for sending you anything you did not specifically ask for. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who else handles it

• Formspree

  Processes form submissions and delivers them to us by email.

• Cloudflare

  Hosts the site and serves it. Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses in order to deliver pages and protect the site from attack.

• Google Fonts

  Serves the typefaces this site uses. Your browser requests them from Google, which means Google receives your IP address.

• YouTube

  Two pages carry a video. Nothing loads from YouTube until you click play — the page shows a still image until then. If you do press play, YouTube receives your IP address and may set storage on your device under its own terms.

Some of these providers are outside the UK. Where that is the case, transfers are made under the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.

Cookies and storage

This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts.

The Readiness Index uses your browser’s local storage to remember your progress and that you have already signed up. That is storage you asked for by using the tool, and it stays on your device.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and the details behind them are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for two years afterwards, in case you come back to us. After that we delete them. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Access

  Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you. This is free.

• Rectification

  Have anything inaccurate corrected.

• Erasure

  Ask us to delete what we hold.

• Restriction

  Ask us to stop using it while a question about it is resolved.

• Objection

  Object to our using it on the basis of legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.

• Portability

  Receive what you gave us in a portable format.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page.
